I submitted a request on Sunday night and Wayne was here first thing Monday morning. It was more complicated then a simple clogged drain, but he tracked down the clog and fixed the problem and now our drains are working great.

Your service was fine and on time. Just one complaint. The Ticket number: 22564943 was paid with my personal check (#2908), after being told my debit card didn't work. Tech came out to house late in the evening with a superb fix it attitude. I automatically felt comfortable with the tech based off first impression. Clean cut with a professional appearance. He attempted to snake the washer drain line. That was unsuccessful so he had to open up the wall to inspect the pipe. Found old galvanized piping in the wall. He explained my options in a clear professional manner. Came back the next evening at the agreed time that was convient for me and he replaced the old pipe with new pipe. I was extremely impressed with the techs patience. I used a home warranty loan company for the repair and well.. let's just say that was a lengthy process. I was more bothered by it then the tech. Signed the paperwork shook hands and he went on his way. He always carried himself physically and verbally like a professional.

Garnet was extremely professional and friendly. The work was done quickly and accurately. I was not expect such a quick response on fixing my leaking garbage disposal. I would use this company again. Ask for Garnet.

Steve B. was great! We had a frozen pipe burst inside the wall. Water everywhere. Foundation had to be removed to replace it. A HEADACHE, right? Well, we got a very professional plumbing tech, he worked fast, looks like good quality work and he was very professional. Looks like he did a great job and he put the foundation back clean and smooth. We appreciate his work. Because of Steve we chose Roto's water extraction team. Darrayl J. came right out, again, super professional and on point, and his team was on site within hours... (sigh of relief) For a headache situation, it makes for less of a headache when you have great professionals like Steve (plumbing) and Darrayl (water extraction) supporting the restoration.

Called roto-rooter to clean out utility drain that was draining slowly. The first technician came out and after several tries was unable to get through the clog. He did not have a camera with him to check to see if there was a break in the piped under the house he called to see if someon with a camera was available, but due to the lateness of the day he said that someone would be out the next morning to check the lines and see if there was a break. The next morning received a call saying the technician would be there within the hour and sure enough technicians Shawn & Andy showed up promptly.Shawn said he would try and snake the drain again before trying the camera to see if there were any breaks in the pipe. The day was already extremely hot and Shawn snaked the garage clean out first to make sure that part of the drain was clear and then he snaked the outside drain from the washing machine to the main line several times to break up the clog, he then used the camera to make sure there were no breaks in the line, and thankfully the pipes were not broken or leaking. Even in the blistering heat Shawn & Andy were very courteous and polite and took the time to explain ways to take care of old pipes and to keep them clear of clogs in the future and recommended a drain cleaner to use as a preventative.We have used Roto-Rooter in the past and have been happy with their work, but Shawn and Andy are the best technicians we've had. They are both knowledgeable and very polite and courteous with us! If we have any problems in the future we will definitely call Roto-Rooter again and I will definitely request Shawn!Thank You for your all your help!!

The plumber and camera men did their job well, however, Corey H, the plumber told me in his words “no disrespect but you look good” shortly after I greeted him in my front yard and started walking away. There was another instance when I walked up to my house and I could see his reflection through the glass front door and I noticed that he stopped pulling stuff out of his van, turned to my direction and just starred at my turned back as I was standing there a few seconds to unlock the door. I would have let this pass if he didn’t make that comment earlier and if he didn’t stop what he was doing to watch me for longer than a second. I was wearing black leggings so I am under the impression that his comment and his stares were directed at that. There was another instance when he spotted me running back into the house (I was running for a reason not related to my plumbing situation) and later on, he told me “I thought you were running to see me, I was feeling special”. This could have been a playful joke but again, the incidents earlier made me uncomfortable with this comment and it is not acceptable for someone to talk to their client in this way anyway. I ended up trying to avoid running into him if I could until the job was done. Roto Rooter as a company is dependable and good at their job but I do not feel comfortable sticking with them anymore because I do not want this plumber at my house again.

I have a rental unit and I was out of town. All that was needed was a flapper kit installed. This is not a difficult repair but I was in a bind to have it done since I'm away for a few months. The cost to do this simple job was $360 plus parts. My wife could have done this in 1/2 of an hour. I must have been having a weak moment and approved the repair. I kick myself for being so stupid. I guarantee I will never call them again.

Technician Will tackled a difficult job in a professional manor, was congenial yet efficient and stayed until all but one drain (which had damaged pipes) were cleared. Will listened to our problems and informed us of his progress and issues along the way. The next time I have a plumbing issue, I will request this tech again. I was able to get an appointment within a few hours of my call. The plumbing problem was quickly resolved. The water clean up started immediately. On last day of water clean up, the technician was late showing up. I expected him between 9-10 a.m. He was not able to get to me until 7 p.m.

I set up an appt for crawlspace issue. I was stood up two days in a row with little to no feedback. The third day someone showed up and they refused to enter the crawl space due to size. The fourth day they showed up and checked the issue, charged me $200.00 and left without fixing anything. They could not even give me a price that the repair would cost! Not a very professional business.

Zach and Jim were very professional. In fact i want them to comeback and install my new sink and faucet.

Had a water valve burst over night. Not only did the person on the phone try to find someone for the 4am time that the incident took place, but called back later when he found the first available person.. Today was my first experience with Roto Rooter. The Service Technician was professional and a true craftsman. Jason Thompson was an ambassador to his company and to his craft. Jason worked quickly and answered all my questions and concerns with the confidence of a subject matter expert. I do not take time to fill out reviews or do surveys, but I felt it was important that Jason understands how grateful my family and I are for his hard work, and service.

2 mouths ago I called for plumbing issues after about 3 or 4 hour wait the guy show up snake my toilet left i had to call bk because it started backing up in my tubs after I paid 500 for him to snake my toilet now today same problem and to be told that the works not guaranteed i still needed to have it checked and was not told that so what I pay 500 for..im very disappointed and out of 500 bucks for nothing should have went through my insurance but I needed service right then lesson learned never again

They came and fixed the problem. They were on time and came soon after my first call. The tech was very professional and solved all the drainage issues. The reason I gave 3 stars is because their prices are way over the top. They literally just got paid 365 dollars for an hour of service. A lawyer charges less than that and that's saying something.

They did a great job. I called for an appointment for my clogged sink, tub, and disposal. Rotorooter came within 24 hours. The two guys worked fast and was very professional. Definitely will be using them again.

Had assessment of sewer lines by Peter Walz on 7/9/20. He was pleasant & recommended other work to be done. After speaking with his colleague, Joe, tech #2181, the work was scheduled for 7/10. Joe was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable & friendly. He assessed the job, completed it, and cleaned up after himself. I was delighted with both Roto-Rooter employees. Joe was able to diagnose the problem to be less serious than originally thought. He was a joy to work with.

Had a sewer main clog and couldn’t find the clean out value. The tech came out on time and wouldn’t give up, he found my clean out value underground and then unclogged the value and fixed the value and made it above ground! Love it! So glad they came to our rescue. Thanks so much!

Mike was great. It took awhile to locate the pipe obstruction and make the angles but his experience paid off and our drain pipe is free and clear. Great job!

This guy was amazing… I’ve been taking care of my brothers house while he’s away, he’s been gone for 6 months and that tub has never drained properly but after a hour this magical person got the drain unclogged

Manny returned at our request to replace all the aging piping in the house. He and his fellow workman started on a Sunday and were gone by Tuesday. They would have finished even more quickly but for their thoughtful and time-consuming efforts to keep wall-cutting to an absolute minimum. Pricey . . . but worth it.

We had Mike out over the weekend for our washer drain pipe backing up. We were able to get a same day appointment and he was able to come earlier than we were originally expecting. Really nice and professional guy!

I had a water line in the wall and crawlspace that needed to be repaired. The plumber Brad did the job quickly and efficiently. Even though he was under the weather he still did a good job. I would recommend Roto Rooter to anyone.

Our repairman, Garnett, was excellent! He went above and beyond, staying through cold and rain until he resolved the problem and got the pipes cleared and flowing. We appreciate the effort!

I called at 7 PM for a clogged sewer and asked for an appointment the next morning. The technician arrived promptly at 9 AM the next day. He put a camera down the line, found the front clean-out (which was buried in the front flower bed) and quickly cleared the pipe. When he found a tree root in the line, he notified me that another individual would come to do an in-depth inspection of the line and quote the fix. That individual was here within 30 minutes. Both technicians were extremely polite and professional, showed me the issue on the video screens so I would understand the problem, and even wore booties in the house due to the rainy weather. I am extremely satisfied with my service and I will call them in the future for any of my plumbing needs.

Mike V. was my tech and the entire service expectations were met and resolved within a couple hours of the initial phone call. Excellent response time and professionalism.

They were extremely busy but kept in contact with me until the technician came. Jason did an absolutely incredible job for us. He explained everything and had our problem fixed in no time. We will definitely use Jason again if we need any plumbing work done!!!

Terrance Collins with Roto-Rooter came out to uninstall/reinstall a kitchen faucet for us and despite a few extra curricular hurdles did a fantastic job! Added bonus, he did great with my cat constantly bothering him!

DJ was outstanding! It was a challenging job and he got it done. The drains are draining!

The over night guy was unable to unclog the sewer line between the house and the road. He tried really hard and he had some equipment failure, but he also removed the toilet which turned out to be unnecessarily and increased the cost of the job. Reinaldo came the next day and he was fantastic. He found the outdoor access in 10 minutes by popping his head into the crawl space access with a flashlight. He estimated the location outside the crawlspace and dug it up. It was under 1' soil and he had to break off the cap which was completely sealed shut, but he got it done and fixed it when he was finished. It was a really tough clog so it took a while, but he stayed until everything was right. I couldn't possibly ask for better service than he provided. His exceptional work guarantees my loyalty as a customer in the future.

#1728 my technician Bryan was amazing. He took care of everything I needed. I thought calling a big name plumber would be extremely costly but it was actually really reasonable. Bryan came in and he definitely gained a new customer. Such a friendly guy. Give him a raise lol. Great job Bryan

We just purchased a home with an electric water heater and have 0 experience in plumbing. Set up an appointment last night, got a call this morning telling us they had a cancelation and a plumber was 30 minutes out (score!!). William (tech #3066 I’m giving him full credit cuz he was a life saver!!) came out, looked at the issue, fixed it in less than an hour and got us hot water! He showed us everything we needed and gave us some much needed tips. For new home owners, he’s a much needed asset. Defiantly calling William in the future for all our issues. 100/10 service!

I called and had an excellent plumber that day in the time slot I preferred. He installed a new toilet and worked efficiently. This is the third time that I had excellent service with Roto Rooter over a 10 year period, and a different plumber did the work each time.I highly recommend this plumber who did the work and Roto Rooster. as a way of getting good plumbers.

My water/sewage bill was over $1,000.00 and was told by my current plumber to have leak finders, find the leak before they could repair. Leak finders could not for over a week. RotoRooter responded right away, believed the 40yr old toilet was the problem. Replaced the same day, I feel confident they solved the problem. Wayne Warren and his assistant were through, professional. They also replaced the handle on a 2nd toilet that was duck taped. Any future plumbing problems, I’ll be calling Wayne!!!

We had water leaking out of our garbage disposal and onto our kitchen floor. Roto-Rooter had Joe to us in 30 minutes. It was late in the day but Joe (2181) came in, explained what happened and fixed the problem in a timely manner. His promptness and professionalism was appreciated.

Terrance was absolutely phenomenal. He did great work, and left everything cleaner then when he started, and went out of his to do the work efficiently and effectively.

Our plumber, Will, was very kind and understanding. He was also very professional. His associate, David, was also very nice - he had to be called in to do the service from the street (as we said needed to be done, from prior experience, but evidently the home office made Will pull the toilet out first - wasted time and effort). Thank you for the help (but not necessarily the bad news that the outside pipe needs replacing!)

Garnet was very helpful and friendly. He made sure that he explained what he was doing and that I understood. Before he left, he ensured multiple times that the sink was draining properly and was not leaking.

Charged $375 for installation of a sump pump that I had bought from Home Depot as well as a humidifier that I had already bought. Unfortunately, he did not connect a hose to the humidifier that would have drained into the well with the sump pump, and left it such that water from the dehumidifier was leaking into the basem*nt wall and floor. I called to report this and got some push back which I was surprised by given that the reason I called Roto Rooter was to have a dry basem*nt. Eventually he came back to connect a hose. If I had not have called, my basem*nt would have continued to be wet.

David worked diligently to solve all of my plumbing problems. He was professional and he is a highly conscientious worker.

Great communication and great service! I called for a running faucet and they came within 2 hours of my call. Serviceman was very kind and helpful explaining what happened. It is expensive, I will admit, but overall I am satisfied with the value of the service!

I had a drain problem with the main line exiting the house.

Got a call from a tenant with a clogged main sewer line on Friday night - water backing up into toilet, sink and bathroom floor! Called Roto-Rooter and they came out first thing Saturday morning and took care of the problem. Service technician was very professional, informative, thorough and friendly. Not only did he unclog the drain, but he ran a camera thru the drain, showed me the problem, ran his snake through several times, then showed me the results. I highly recommend their services.

We had a leak from our toilet in our upstairs bathroom and couldn't figure out the source. We called Roto-Rooter and they sent out a technician late yesterday evening. Our tech Gary quickly identified the source of the leak and had it fixed in no time. Even being so late in the evening, Gary was professional, courteous, and efficient in his work. Excellent service. I had a severely clogged sink that I was unable to unclog. I called Roto-Rooter Norfolk around 9:00 AM and got an appt for the afternoon. I got a call about 30 minutes prior to the plumber's arrival. Brad was our plumber and he was great. He was friendly and quite knowledgeable. He quickly cleared the clog and gave me good information on how to prevent the problem from happening again. I would definitely call Roto-Rooter again for plumbing problems.

By the time they left, it felt like they were family. I also watched as the technician was training and I was very impressed at how detailed he was in explaining what was going on to his trainee. The trainee watched every move he made and ask questions I could tell he was very into what he was doing. I think he will be an excellent addition to your company. I will start by saying that my problem was fixed and done well. However, the customer service/dispatch/call center they have is atrocious. I live in an apartment and the property manager hired this company to fix my clogged drain. The first plumber inspected the shower pipe and said it would require 2 specialists and would be approx 3-4hr job and that I would need to schedule an appt as he could not do it. So I did for the following day, and took a vacation day from work. Those 'specialists' no showed. I did not receive any contact from the company. I called, was put on hold, and disconnected. I called again, spoke to another lady who apologized and asked me what day i wanted to schedule another appointment. I had already taken time off that day and demanded someone show up to fix my drain. They sent 1 random plumber, who proceeded to fix the job in 20mins. He was very professional, apologized for the mix up, and even made the comment, I don't know why the 1st guy didn't fix this. Extremely aggravating experience that cost me a vacation day for something that could have been fixed in a few minutes.

Had an emergency garbage disposal/sink clog on a Sunday and Roto-Rooter was there in about 2.5 hours. Terrance was knowledgable, helpful, and efficient. He gave us quality advice on future plumbing fixes and left our drain working better than before. This was our first time using this company, and I was impressed with their professionalism and pricing.

I had Roto-Rooter come out and replace a leaking main water line. They were very prompt and did an excellent job. They advised me on the best material to use to prevent this from happening again. Gary was the technician, and I was very pleased with the work. I would definitly call them again if I have a plumbing problem.

My experience with this company was phenomenal. From the time that I placed the call to upon the technician arriving was so speedy!. I had an emergency with my hot water heater and they were on it!. I am so impressed with the service of the technician Josh who explained each step that he needed to do and he was just fantastic with the quality of service he provided and fast I might add. We had a huge backup in the Townhouse we just moved into, water overflowing into the laundry room and everything.... It was a mess!! Thankfully the guys over at Roto Rooter Norfolk are still working during this dangerous and stressful time. Kriston #4449 was our Specialist and he was super friendly, and very helpful. After calling the landlord for authorization, he got right to work. Fixed our problem in about 30 minutes, turns out roots had grown into the line! And when he was finished he even put a not in the account to let our landlord know it was though no fault of ours that the line became backed up. If I could give him 10 stars I would. I had problem with a clogged kitchen sink, aggravated by some ice build-up in the drain pipe due to a recent cold snap. The plumber took time to explain both the problem and future recommendations, and I especially appreciated the extra time and effort he had to take in breaking up the ice and clear the clog.

A Roto-Rooter Norfolk plumber guy named Justin Blair came out to my place first thing in the morning to help me with a leaking pipe. The guy was 10 minutes early and ready to work immediately. I was particularly impressed with his bearing and his very pleasing personality. He was obviously skilled in his trade and was able to fix me up within a short 25 minutes. I was absolutely satisfied with his service and his competence. My problem was I was originally informed it would take 1 1/2 hour for arrival of the plummer. I received a call back delaying that arrival by about 30 minutes. I said OK. Approximately, 45 minutes later, i called Rotor Rooter, i was than informed the service person was delayed & would arrive within 2 to 3 hours. I demanded to speak with a Manager, who after much unpleasant conversation was able to get a plummer to my home in about 30 minutes or so. This was an UNpleasant experience, however, it was NOT the plummer's faught & I did apologize to him as I was upset. It was the fault of whoever gave me an incorrect ETA, during my initial conversation. I missed an important appointment that day & not one person apologized. Instead, they acted as if I created the problems. May I suggest that you stop lying about your ETA, Rotor Rooter dispatchers. I understand there's a wait time, but this was ridiculous.

I had my exterior pipe replaced to the city connection. After the job was done the landscaping was not completed at the time and I was told that company would send someone out at a later date to do it. Yesterday, a month after the piping job and after a couple of rains, they actually showed up. What a surprise and a delight. As new home owners, we had an emergency plumbing issue with toilet water baking up into a shower. We called Roto-Rooter and they arrived promptly (about 40 mins) and cleared up the issue quickly for a fair price. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

I have had a good experience with this company a few times in the past but the recent visit on July 8th a technician with the name of Corey H showed up and said multiple unprofessional and inappropriate comments to my fiancé making her uncomfortable the entire time. He also lied to her about pricing and then when I spoke with him his explanation was completely different on the price. On the other hand he did do his job and I am happy that my plumbing is fixed!

Called Rotor Rooter today about a plumbing problem. The lady on the phone (sorry, don't remember name; I'm like that). She was very pleasant and helpful. Within an hour, after a call back from the lady, a techncian showed up. William was very professional, pleasant and courteous. Once we explained the problem, he got on it, and had eliminated the problem within about thirty minutes.Was painful to pay the bill (not cheap), but very happy, as is the wife too. Had a backed up shower and toilet which shared the same line. He was able to get the toilet and shower to start draining and that's when the tech called it. Had to get another company to come 5 days later to finish clearing the lines and then they did a courtesy line look with a camera to make sure they got it clear unlike this company. I don't recommend this place because when I called back to see if they would come finish the job which I now realize after going through this other one I was over charged by this place quite a large amount and they would re charge me to come backout to do what they already should have done

Ok so this company was very responsive and good communication. I gave it only 4 stars because it took 2 technicians on 2 different days to fix my kitchen sink. The first tech Mike he didn’t do a full check and assumed it was a simple fix. And the price was a little much for a 5 min fix. The next day Garett (i think I spelt it right) came in very professional and understood my frustration. He knew the issue within 5 mins looking at my sink and let me know the real issue. He let me get everything I need for the job and knocked it out! He showed me what to look out for and explained what could have cost it. He truly saved my overall view of the company and services. Wilson showed up on time and was prepared to handle all of our weird plumbing issues. We had already spent hundreds of dollars with other companies trying to fix the problem but it was never fixed. Wilson came out and quickly figured out exactly what the root of the problem is. We were also given false reasoning from the prior plumbers that turned out to be inaccurate. Wilson took videos and used a camera in the pipes to show us exactly what the issue was and came up with two remedies for us. One was fixed immediately and now after weeks we can finally do laundry! YAY! and created a bandaid for us for our showers plumbing issues to buy us time to fix the big issue. We definitely recommend him and will be calling him again in a few months to fix the remaining issues. THANK YOU SO MUCH WILSON!!

In April Roto-Rooter repaired our toilet which was leaking around the base. The toilet was fine until August when it began to leak again. A different plumber came, made repairs and replaced some parts all at no charge. September 11th it began to leak again. A third plumber arrived and diagnosed the problem and made repairs. Micah, Tech #3636, was very personable, assured us that 3rd time's a charm and that the toilet is definitely fixed this time. We have only been charged for the original work. Roto-Rooter's warranty covered the additional service calls. We will definitely call Roto-Rooter if we have problems again -- which we probably will as our house is 100 years old. They have always arrived within the time frame given by their dispatcher, and being able to get a plumber 24/7 is a definite plus!

We got charged over $1,000 for not even 15 minutes of labor. The parts were $76 and labor was over $900 and the older gentleman that was here was beyond rude. We were charged Over $500 for our toilet flange replacement and it is still messed up completely, it is making very loud noises, and they have to return tonight to fix their mistake. The older gentleman didn’t say anything to my husband or I when he left our house then he told our flooring guys very rudely “move your van I need to leave”. I am not happy with this company whatsoever.

Roto-Rooter was great! I noticed my ceiling was leaking around 8:30 at night. I immediately turned off my water and called them. They couldn't get anyone out that evening in my area but were able to schedule a window for the next day. I was told that they technician would show up between 10 and 2 the following day and would give me a call about 45 minutes before they were to show up. After about an hour after I got off the phone with them I got a call from the water mitigation manager. He just wanted to make sure that there was no noticeable water damage. There wasn't so he said that the tech would be out tomorrow. I got a call the next day about 45 minutes before the tech showed up. Johnathan was great. He told us what was wrong and gave us the hourly fee, the flat-fee was unavailable due to the type of work we needed done and he got to work. It took about an hour and everything was fixed. I like that we were able to use a coupon from the site and also get a 6 month warranty on services. Overall the service was fast, very professional and if we ever have an emergency again we will not hesitate to call.

I use this company to find a certified plumber and I’m very impressed. I wish I would have used them for the water restoration but my insurance used another company unfortunately. I called this company desperately looking to find out where the leak was and looking for a solution. Austin was the gentleman who came out to my property. He kept me informed of his arrival time and he was not only professional, he was very patient in helping me understand from start to finish what they do, how they repair, and the price upfront. I’m very please with this company and I would recommend them to anyone that is in a crisis like I was.

Will never use Roto-Rooter again! The technician was extremely rude, wouldn't actually look at our hot water heater at all after being told twice over the phone that they would diagnose the problem for free. He wouldn't touch the water heater whatsoever and demanded over 200 dollar upfront just to touch the water heater after being over 2 hours late. Branch Manager Brian called me and instead of trying to keep a customer, explained away his technician's rudeness and said there was an internal problem at the call center and they shouldn't be telling us the tech would diagnose for free. Very unsatisfied.

Shoty work. He tried to fix my sink faucet and made it worst. Before he tried to fix it, it was operable. Now I can not even use it. Also the work he did in my downstairs bathroom is actually comming unscrewed. it cost me over $300. I will not call them again.

Same guy came out twice and still didn't get it right. On second visit, asked the plumber if the new disposal was causing my dishwasher not to drain. He insisted the issues weren't related. Hired another company through my home warranty to come check the dishwasher. Sure enough, the Roto Rooter guy hadn't removed the knockout plug from the garbage disposal. It took the other company all of 5 minutes to solve the problem. Why the Roto Rooter guy couldn't be bothered to take the time to look into it, I don't know. I'll be using that other plumbing company with Rooter in the name from now on.

After dealing with our home warranty company and the contractor they sent out (Budget Plumbing) we can wholeheartedly say that Roto-Rooter is a life saver. We had our pipes replaced and a 2-way clean out installed all within a short time notice. Our home warranty company did not cover it and that is fine because they lost us as customers but you guys definitely gain a new one. Granted it did cost us a pretty penny however I would rather have it done by a prompt, knowledgeable, and reputable company. I feel the blame here is on dispatch. I spoke to dispatch at 1:35 and he was just sending a tech from the beach area to my home then. He said I’m sending someone now but its gonna be awhile before they get there as we are at the beach. I can make it to the beach in 20 minutes from my home. After the tech arrived, he listened carefully to my issues and unclogged my kitchen sink over the next 1 1/2 hours working very diligently and tidy

It took almost all day for someone to come out to check our plumbing. Being told they were behind and busy. I first called around 10:30 am and no one arrived until around 11pm.However when the plumber Austin arrived he was very nice and open about what he was doing and was very friendly. He looked and sounded like he knew what he was doing and fixed the problem!

Technician did not give up in the face of defeat. Said the only way to clear the clog is to replace the trap but he will try, after an hour of battling the bathtub he finally prevailed and the tub started to drain once as it never had.

We had a plumbing issue pop up late last night. After my husband tried (and failed), to fix the issue, we knew we’d have to call a plumber. Our plumber Gary was there within 30-45 minutes after calling, and was helpful, informative, and very professional. He quickly diagnosed the issue, and worked with us to have a follow up appointment scheduled. While there he solved our issue, and made sure to include us, answering any questions patiently. Gary’s demeanor helped set our minds at ease in what can be a very stressful emergency. My husband and I tackled a bathroom remodel ourselves, ripping out an existing one-piece tub/shower surround and replacing with a four-piece set. After a full day's worth of work, we discovered when we went to hook up the new shower fixtures that it wouldn't fit our existing plumbing. After doing some research we realized our 90's plumbing wasn't compatible with ANY modern shower fixtures. While we're comfortable with a lot of DIY, we aren't very comfortable with electrical or plumbing so we called an expert to help us complete our DIY remodel. Ernie, was FABULOUS. He was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He gave us props for the work we'd done and explained we only made a couple minor and repairable mistakes from lack of experience. He remedied all our plumbing conversion issues and talked us through the next steps so we could finish our project on our own. We had the absolute best experience with Roto-Rooter. I was able to call Saturday afternoon and get a Sunday morning appointment. We felt their pricing was reasonable (not cheap) and worth the work (professional pricing for professional work). I also appreciate that they don't charge extra for weekend, night, or holiday work so we were able to finish our bathroom remodel in a weekend! I know who I'm going to call the next time we have a non-home-warranty-covered plumbing issue... Roto-Rooter!

I contacted Roto-Rooter after having been told that I had a pipe break in my crawl space. The appointment set up was quick and easy and on Saturday they came out to do the work. Hunter was very professional and took pictures in the crawl space showing me where the pipe came apart and the damage that needs to be cleaned out after the repair. He provided me an estimate and I had him go ahead and do the work. He also contacted Tanyika to come talk to me about the restoration process of cleaning out the sewage and replacing the vapor barrier in the crawl space. She even helped guide me through the process of getting the claim filed with my insurance company. After filing the claim, Tanyika provided me with the estimate and informed me that once I was assigned a claims agent from my insurance company, then she would send the pictures that Hunter took to the agent to get the process moving.Both Hunter and Tanyika were professional and helped explain every part of the process.Thank you Hunter and Tanyika for helping make this a smooth process.

Excellent service by Plumber in Norfolk. I attempted to install a utility sink and it went south. I almost flooded my garage, but eventually turned off the water. Wayne did an outstanding and professional job. My house is very old and the pervious owners didn't do everything the correct way. The drain in the tub finally gave out. Tech unable to remove shower diverter seat, tech said he can come back and replace the pipe in the wall for $800, after paying $300 with parts provided.

I was really disappointed with this service they didnt fixed it and the next day i ask them to comeback and they didnt do anything and they pull out the warranty that they offer for 6 months the next day instead of fixing what the problem they just dont do anything and i pay for it they are very expensive i pay alot for nothing the problem they didnt fixed at all just a simple plumbing, and they didnt find the clean up for the house they suggest to make one and they said need to change the pipe that it cost too much . After that i call another company and they find out we have clean up in the back yard so they do the snake and it fixed my clogging problem ant it cost 261 $ only compare to roto rooter 635 and they didnt do the job . Im really disappointed and lesson learn so i wont recommend this company . Zero 0 For me and very disappointed .

Joe (2181) was extremely nice and knowledgable. Our upstairs sink and tub were backing up. Besides unclogging it, he spent the time letting me know what issues in our plumbing might lead to this yearly backup. He was very honest and straightforward. Thank you for a job well done. The $315 was a little steep, but I guess it could have been worse.

The plumber that came out to help us was Shawn. I am a do it yourself kind of guy and have fixed a number of problems with the plumbing myself, but when the water was coming out the cleanout and I needed a professional opinion I called roto-rooter for just that. I just wanted a pro to confirm my suspicion as to where the clog was, but I got a whole lot more. Shawn showed up on time for the appointment I made the day before... 5:30 - 6:00 and working in the service industry I know how hard it is to hit nthat window. He listened to everything I had done to narrow down where the issue of the clog was and then he did his own trobleshooting. I really appreciated him showing me what he was doing and taking his time with making sure things were understandable and was working to help me make a decision. He ended up snaking the drain with the electric snake and I was glad he did it because now I know there clear. not only did I see him do the work and had a good understanding of what was going on, but then he showed me every inch of the line with his digital plumber camera that went into the pipe. WOW...what a great job Shawn did and he educated me along the way. I have had roto-rooter do work for me on another home I owned and it seems like every one of my experiences has been a good one. This is the second time in 4 years that we have called Roto-Rooter for kitchen pipe problems. The first time was in 2008. Our tech found the problem pretty quick, the cast iron pipes in the walls had corroded pretty bad and had to be replaced. We were very happy with the service we received. Fast forward to this past week...we started seeing water come up from the foundation under the kitchen sink area. Called RR on a Sunday morning and even though they were pretty backed up they got a tech out to us later that evening. Long story short--The rest of the kitchen line UNDER the house was going to have to be replaced due to corrosion. We were given options and pricing right up front. In my opinion Roto-Rooter is one of the few companies around who truly care about customer service and satisfaction and we will continue to call them for all of our plumbing needs!

We had Roto-Rooter come out to address a sewage leak. Their plumber quickly identified the cause of the problem and required steps to move forward with cleanup and repair. The water restoration specialist, Kyle Russell, was very helpful in seeking the best solutions and helping us work with the insurance company. The water remediation technician, Antonio Lawrence, and his team were phenomenal due to their frequent communication, attention to detail, professionalism, and overall easygoing nature. I had an emergency and called them at 7:30 pm and they sent a guy out that same evening. Unfortunately he couldn't fix the problem so they sent another person the very next day. They were able to fix the issue and let me know the route cause. Only complaint was while they did clean up after themselves, the first guy didn't really clean up that well so Istill have stuff over my walls and floor from his machine that I'll have to do a deep scrub to get everything but otherwise it was a great service. I will contact them again in the future should I have any problems.

The small food clog in the kitchen that could've been resolved the same day was not because this young man figured there's ice in the main drain line. Well it turns out that wasn't the case. After waiting for the ice to thaw out(in which it didn't because there weren't any), I had to make the third call. Again, a different worker. He was very professional and got the job done quick. But he did NOT offer any discount for an inconvenience fee from the second worker who stopped by. I would rate the company 5/5 if it weren't for the second worker leaving the job undone.

I had a leak in my pipe under my crawl space. It rained and it was dark but he still went under there and repaired the leak. I called and they came the next day. I'm thanking them for repairing the leak because my water bill showed I had a leak. I will recommend them to anybody who needs Plumbing done. While I was not happy with the dispatcher responsible for assigning a technician to our job, I was pleased with the technician who completed the work. I was given a 4 hour window of time to expect a technician to do the work but the window passed and they were unable to get to us that day. I was then given a 4 hour window for the next day. No one came during that time but I did receive 2 phone calls saying they were waiting on a technician to become available. 2 hours after the promised time a technician finally arrived. Ben was courteous, professional, and efficient and took the time to explain my options. He left his business card and gave me the option to call him directly on a company phone for work I am considering doing in the future. My rating is based exclusively on the technician and the job he did!

I was notified by my pest control inspector of a leak under my house and I contacted Roto-Rooter after trying to contact another company who didn’t call back. I can’t remember the name of my technician but he was quick, thorough and efficient. He located the source of the leak and made the needed repairs to get our home water tight again. Mark Smith is our water remediation specialist and he put my mind instantly at ease when he assured me the repair of the damages from the water leak would be covered under my homeowners policy and he’s currently working with me to file that claim. So far I couldn’t be more pleased with the way this company handled everything. Hopefully I’ll be able to update this as the claim goes on and repairs are made.

I own an older mobile home that had broken water pipes from last winter. Once the technician arrived and examined the problem he found that because of the age of pipes they needed to be replaced. I had the pleasure of working with technician Brad3036. He was courteous, punctual, and patient with explaining what was wrong and how he would correct it.

Roto-Rooter dispatched a technician within 30 minutes my call on a Sunday morning to clear out the sewer line from the clean-out to the city line. Mike was extremely professional and courteous as he thoroughly explained what he was doing and what he discovered in the line (roots).He then took the time to explain that Roto-Rooter can provide a free estimate service using a camera to run the sewer line to see where the roots are getting into the existing sewer line. Ooh my goodness!! We are beyond satisfied with Roto-Rooter's promptness, professionalism, expertise, hours (24 hours, no after hour fees) and work results. We stumbled upon them by way of Google. We contacted 2 alternate agencies, and they were unable to send anyone out for 5 to 7 days. Roto-Rooter was contacted and the pleasant staff advised they could have a technician out within a few hours...THE SAME NIGHT of the call!! Technician arrived at 10:oopm and worked diligently past midnight trying to determine the problem. He even reached out to a counterpart; which also came to the home to troubleshoot. I must insert...if they cannot fix the problem, it is my understanding that you are not invoiced, not even a service fee! Technicians determined the issue and promptly returned back the following day to complete the work. One was Russell and other was Mike. They were soo personable and patient as this was a warranty claim; which requires contact is made prior to completion. They provided the warranty company the required information and work was completed timely. They even took the time to answer a few additional questions that we had not related to this service call. They exuded nothing but excellence! I have placed them as a contact in my phone and they will for sure be our number 1 contact in the future!! We 110% recommend this company!!!

William responded within an hour. We called the Portsmouth, Va office from area 042 He was a perfect gentleman and licensed plumber. He wasted no time in discovering our bathtub drain problem with a stuck drain snake in the drain. The 60 year old galvanized pipe was very full of cement like sludge build up. He had to replace PVC pipe from the tub to the main cast iron drain approx 6-10 feet. The drain works like new now with fresh pipes and tub drain and vents. Very satisfied

The plumber didn't arrive until about 90 minutes after the quoted time, however he was clean, nice, and knowledgeable. He had our sink cleared out quickly and even cleaned up the mess which caused the clog in the first place (vomit!). He didn't have to do that, so bumped back up to 5 stars despite missing the appointment window. Will definitely call again.

Called for plumbing issue and the technician was very pleasant and professional (Mike #703). But after spending 1.5 hours snaking my main sewer line it resulted in (doing a load of laundry) that the same issue was still occurring (sewage backing up into my showers). Mike did say there were one or two blockages removed, but trying to do laundry tonight, I couldn't tell. Professionalism was great but obviously the technique was lacking. I did receive a six month warranty but for the amount of money paid, I'm not sure I would or would not recommend Royo-Rooter to family or friends. The customer service rep, Ms. Linda, was very helpful in scheduling a new appointment for the same day. Robert arrived and was very professional, personable and most importantly very knowledgeable concerning what I needed done. He was also prepared to ensure that my sewer line problem was fixed before leaving. A few days later I received a call from the GM, Bradly Howard. He was very concerned about my borderline dissatisfaction with the original service that was provided. He assured me that my feedback would be used as a learning tool and also offered to refund a $100 dollars of my overall payment for the services provided. This I gladly accepted. I made my appointment at 5am and had two experts at my house by 230 that afternoon, WAYNE and DEON were the two plumbers and they were absolute professionals! On May 9th they came out to do a clean out on my main drain pipe. The initial service call was not all that impressive I felt like I was being over charged for the service. Unfortunately I had to call back a month later because the first clean out did not stick and it had to be done again. This time a different service technician came, Mike Wilson. He was very professional and asked questions and worked very hard to make sure that the clean out was done properly. He did things that were not done the first time around. This kind of service is what made me score 5 stars otherwise I would have done 2 stars. Thank you Mike for a job well done.

Bryant was kind he took the time to listen to the problem. Because I have bigger issues than what he can solve he still took the time to see if he could assist us. After he realized that there was nothing he could do I explain to him that I’m going to remodel the bathroom and he’s made suggestions of how his company could assist us in the process Bryant was excellent.

The response was fast for someone to come out and take a look at my issue, the man was friendly he worked quickly...however i don't feel he did a thorough investigation on what the issue was with my pipes/plumbing situation...my toilet handle was down (because it sticks) for 30 minutes and I get water in multiple areas of my home!? The only thing he didn't was snake my toilet to clear a blockage the repair the handle and another thing ( to allow the water to fill up in the toilet bowl). I just don't feel like in the 20-25 minutes he was there I never got a clear reason or understanding on what, why, and how this happened...a sticky toilet handle couldn't have been the only culprit. I would still recommend the company for small issues...

I would give them a negative 100 if I was able to. We had a water pipe bust last night and made an appointment for them to come by between noon and two today to repair it. They never showed up and then said that they tried calling me and left me three text messages when I never received a single one, and that they would have to reschedule for another time. So now I have no hot water, water still leaking in my kitchen and my whole afternoon wasted because of them. Avoid them at all costs as they obviously don’t care about customer service and are completely fine with lying about it.

Our home had a back up from too much food being put into the garbage disposal. My toilet overflowed. I tried snaking the main line myself for 2 hours and couldn’t get unclogged. I called Roto-Rooter and they had Travis at the house in an hour. He made some observations inside and outside the house then quoted a price. I also took advantage of the coupon that was on the website. An hour and half later he had the pipe unclogged. Travis was professional and courteous as well as helpful. He assisted with some of the clean up at the end. I will definitely save myself the hassle and just call Roto-Rooter next time. I am very satisfied with the service they performed today.

December 6th, the perfect time for a clogged sewer pipe to force washing machine water to escape via the toilet onto the floor. When Technician # 3196 AKA Shawn arrived, he consoled, reassured, and patiently answered questions all while efficiently solving the problem. At no time was I concerned about # 3196 or the company he represented. His demeanor, skill and work ethic eradicated the problem that had been lurking underground for years. Awesome Service. Had a badly stopped up kitchen sink. Called Roto-Rooter Norfolk at 8 AM and within 10 mins had a phone call telling me the plumber would be at my home between 10 and 10:30 and he was here around 10:20. Totally failed to show up first time I booked them. Showed up late the 2nd time. Wanted $289 for each faucet install! That's like $600/hour! and i'm left with a $98 call out charge when i said no thanks, I think I'll just google it...

Garnet (#1873) was professional, friendly, and seemed determined to resolve the issue. He was here even before the time I was told he would be here. He took the time to listen to me and answer my questions. He was the second tech to come to my house that day. The first one (Mike?) seemed to thoroughly investigate what the main problem was. He told me the toilet needed to be removed and the main drain needed to be unclogged. But he said he wouldn't be able to do it, and that another tech would have to come out. I didn't question why because I don't know how the company works. Anyway, I was told the next tech would be out in about 45 minutes. But he, Garnet, was out there in no time. Problem seems to be resolved now, thanks to Garnet's persistence and hard work, which was what I needed. Apparently the underlying problem is roots which will be the next issue I have to deal with. I'm living on Social Security only. As many other people these days, I just don't have the money to deal with issues like these. I hope that Garnet's diligence, hard work, and determination will prevent more costly repairs (that I just can't afford) in the future. But I realize that issues like old drainage pipes damaged by roots may not be easily, or cheaply, resolved. But I feel Garnet did everything he could to resolve it.

Called earlier this morning for a garbage disposal replacement. Was able to get somebody to my house the same day. Very special very knowledgeable and only took 30 minutes to replace my garbage disposal and make sure that it’s working. When year replacement warranty. I would definitely recommend this to anybody.

Excellent service by Joshua. My home was built in 1964, meaning, old pipes. He explained how we should clear future problems and what to do to help prevent clogged drains. Good plunging and running hot water for several minutes took care of the problem. He recommend we not use the standard harsh chemicals, because it can damage the pipes and not to put leafy vegetables, rice and egg shells in the garbage disposal and of course no grease. He suggested running hot water every so often to help keep the pipes clear. He also checked the main bathroom sink, bathtub, and flushed the toilet a couple of times to make sure the issue was not just the kitchen sink. Again, excellent service. Highly recommended.

My technician was prompt, courteous, and involved me in all of the steps as he completed the clearing of my main drain line that connects to the city drain. When we found that there were a TON (and I mean about a baseball sized wad) of roots wrapped around the drain snake, he immediately suggested getting the camera technician out to look at the drain to determine how and where it may be damaged. Once a year or two, I order a gallon of Pipe Shield from Roto-Rooter, we've been doing this for many, many years. Never had a back up, since using this product. Easy to use, and only once a month. Called these guys up early on a cold Saturday morning and they were at the door in less than forty minutes. They went above and beyond with their expertise and were very kind and professional... Fixed my plumbing issue and cleaned up behind themselves before leaving for the day.

We had a jammed disposal in our kitchen sink. When I called, they said the plumber would be at our house between 2-4 pm. At 3:30 pm, the dispatcher called to say that the plumber was running a little late -- but he actually arrived right at 4 pm. He took care of the problem very quickly, was professional and pleasant and made sure everything was running fine before leaving. Thank you!

We had a main drain clog and EVERYTHING was backed up. We had already been quoted astronomical prices to fix it by two other plumbers. So we tried all we could to fix it ourselves. Once we realized we couldn't do it, I called one last company for a quote. Roto-Rooter. They told me they would give me a free estimate and wouldn't charge me a cent until I was satisfied that it was fixed. The guy came a couple of hours later on Sunday night, with no extra charge for weekends. He had a drain camera, and all the other tools necessary to get the job done in about 30 minutes. We had spent a day and a half trying to get done what he did in 30 minutes! That night we were showering and laundering our clothes in our own home and we were so happy. Technician was very professional and was able to identify the issue quickly. High levels of debris in the line had clogged up the water flow restricter filters. $215 for peace of mind was well worth it! Got an education on how to disassemble those restricter filters to clean them.

Associate was very professional, however the service performed was overpriced. It should have been about 40 percent cheaper.

Will did a quick repair on toilet after going to Lowe's for the part. He tried 3 different stores to try to find what he needed to repair my sink faucet. There is only a Lowe's in this end of Suffolk so traveled a long ways to get that part. It did not fit but he was able to increase pressure in the faucet.

I had a really good experience. The phone agent was very helpful and informative. The two gentleman dispatched to my home arrived quickly. They were able to diagnose my problem quickly and within 15 minutes they were working to resolve it. It took them less than two hours to resolve the problem. But I want to mention that the day my hot water valve busted, the plumber who was dispatched here and I discussed the cold water faucet valve and if it needed to be replaced. He said he didn't think so. As it turns out, it was leaking all along, and was replaced today. (Earlier this month) Many thanks to Kyle and the R-R plumber for quick response (AND the NN Fire Department, too--they were awesome), plus Carron, Christina, and Shy Guy for all their help with the water damage issues. We've got two remaining issues left that the contractor pointed out, so I look forward to meeting with you all again this Friday to sort that out.

I just bought and moved into my new house and Joe came to my rescue. It was 7pm and he'd been off since 4pm, but they refused to let calls go unanswered even if they were short staffed and behind schedule. My showers and toilets were backing up, I couldn't give my kids a shower or flush the toilets with out water over flow. Joe came in and in under 10 minutes of his arrival he my plumbing working when I'd had two plumbers before him fix the problem taking half the day to fix it. Not to mention they have a complementary service after to come look with a camera to insure the problem is resolved. Call RotoRooter SERIOUSLY!!!!!! My kitchen sink has been clogged for the longest time and many plumbers have tried to fix it with little success. I've tried six different plumbers and only Alonzo Aungon from Roto-Rooter in Norfolk was able to fix it. He came in, took his time, did a great job, and clearly explained to me what the problem was and how he was going to fix it. Mother's 75+year old house was in need of having cast iron piping replaced to eliminate leaking and roots clogging the line. Roto Rooter was one of four estimates that were received for the job. Bids were all competitive, Roto Rooter was chosen because of their knowledge and prompt attention. Work was completed in one day, it was a hot, long day but Danny Daras and his coworker were not leaving until it was done. After the county inspection they came back and finished covering the line. Would use the company again! Highly recommended.

On Sunday morning we woke up to a burst pipe under our house. I called Roto-Rooter right away and they had someone on their way for our free estimate within an hour. The technician was very pleasant and had the problem assessed quickly with a reasonable quote, and had the issued resolved within a few hours of the first call. Not only was I happy to be able to find someone to come to the house on a Sunday, but so quickly and with a reasonable price, was amazing. We will for sure use them again.

Friday night our toilet back-up into bathtub and I was unable to clear it, so I put a call in to the always reliable Roto-Rooter Plumbing in Norfolk, VA. Over the years I have used them several times and they are always quick to show up and deal with the problem no matter what time of the day or night. After placing the first call for service, we received follow-up calls with updates as to when the truck would arrive. The plumber, Robert, arrived on-time and was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. He was able to snake out the problem from the clean out pipe and was finished with the job in just under an hour. The cost was a tad pricey, $295, but I had a $40 coupon from Angie's List, which knocked it down to $255. Whenever I have a plumbing issue, Roto-Rooter will be my first choice.

Last Thursday night, I had to call Roto-Rooter out to my house for a stoppage. The technician, Hunter, was incredibly nice, patient and professional. The job took longer than expected but he took the time to answer any and all questions that I had. I was very pleased with the overall service and the price was very reasonable. I had a clog and they came out and did a quote. They were late but that was ok because I was home all day. They quoted me 700 to take care of the clog. I declined. They said it would take hours. I asked for referrals on Facebook and was referred to Norfolk plumbing. They charge 170 an hour. They fixed it in a half hour. Maybe less. They were amazing. Im off to write them a good review. I feel like I was scammed and I truly don't understand these reviews.

The very expensive fee for a 10 minute drain clean-out was a little hard to accept, but it was a Sunday night and we needed to use water and toilets.We inquired about water restoration and was told we would be contacted the next morning, then after 3 calls someone finally showed up. We went through the process discussion and agreed to choose them. We were then given the runaround on timelines; they were going to show up today, then tomorrow, then the next day...etc. The process was slow and they were inconsistent. There were moments where I feel they were responsive/available and then others where they weren’t...usually when they were trying to get my business and then when it was time to approve the job so they could get paid. Antonio (the technician) was probably the most consistent and helpful. I also believe that they are understaffed and they overpromise and struggle to deliver.

After being nickeled and dimed by the plumbing company sent by our home warranty company with no results we called Roto-Rooter. Within a short time the technician located several areas of concern and a crack in the pipe that the other company missed completely. For serious drainage issues, I recommend Roto-Rooter.

After dealing with multiple floods and multiple different plumbers, RR came out to my home. The technicians were nice and responsive at first. They cleared my clog, and diagnosed a broken pvc pipe that needed to be replaced asap. Turns out we did not have a broken pvc pipe, just a bellied pipe and that was not an urgent situation. After trying to reach out to multiple different people with my questions, I went unanswered and felt forced into completing this service. After the pipe had been replaced we were told it was good to go! It was not, we were not shown the replaced section because the camera had died from the previous person not charging it. They had to come back out and re grade the pipe for a 2nd time. We also had mitigation work done, which was mediocre at best. The team ended up leaving all the nails in my walls from the baseboard and trim, they damaged walls, ripped out a door seal and just left it hanging and broke an outlet receptacle from out of my wall. They also put back on a toilet that was leaking sewage, did not take out a sink that had sewage in it. I was also told that there would be flood cuts in our laundry room since that's where most of our water was, there was no flood cuts in that room at all. And again i reached out multiple times to ask if it would get done with no response, after the service was completed, they did not clean up the mess, I had to go back to remove floor panels, vacuum and pull nails from the wall. I'm truly amazed at the lack of communication, the poor quality and the outrageous cost for said work. I would definitely not recommend using this company. Save your time, money and sanity choose a different company.

On Feb15,2015 William from Roto-Rooter came out to fix a drainage problem. William was great. He took time with me to explain what he was doing as well as answering my questions. If I looked as though I was not understanding what he was explaining he would stat again in terms I could easily understand. Afterwards he sat down with me to explain the what and what nots to do along with recommending not only company products but other as well. I appreciated the information he gave me and the fact he was not pushing company products. The first man came did not have a clue as to what to do. I called again and the second tech was very knowledgeable and removed the knobs in about five minutes or less and said it was $235 but he gave me a $40 discount. I thought that was very high considering the few minutes it took him. He said he would have to remove the stems and replace them. I said okay. But he only removed the knobs to the shower and said he can come back and remove the stems for another $235.I was contacted by Ned Campbell after this review. Very nice man. He wanted to know what the problem was. I explained what's posted above. He was very concerned. He then told me if I pay for the parts he would be happy to take care of the labor. I accepted his offer. I then paid $130 for the part. I really appreciate him reaching out to me but I felt the entire second call should have been concessioned. You know we consumers can be greedy sometimes.Since Mr. Ned Campbell sincerely cares about his business I gave them another try. Again I wasn't happy with the pricing for my project and l had to contact him again and again he was very concerned and sympathetic about my issue. Mr. Campbell is definitely a man of integrity. I want get into what happened but I do want everyone to know as long as honest people like him work there I will definitely continue to use Rotor Rooter for all of my plumbing needs. His caring attitude is what will keep me coming back and because of him I would definitely rate his company five stars and will recommend them to anyone needing plumbing services. Horrible customer service. I was told someone would arrive between 230 and 430. I received a phone call at 3:30 saying they were running a little bit late. At 6:45 I still had no phone call or update. I called to see what had happened. I was told someone attempted to call me at 4:55. I told them I had no missed call and no voicemail on my phone and wanted them to check that was accurate. I was put on hold the operator came back on the phone and then told me that the plumber was just running late and she would transfer me over to the person who had tried to call me. He was extremely rude said it was my fault and that my phone probably had no service and that he personally called me at 5:05 and left a message (notice the different times I was told and how the story was changed). He said he was sending another plumber out and they would be here within an hour and it would take about two hours to fix. He was not remorseful or sorry at all. Instead tried to lay blame on me. I told him it was extremely poor customer service and that I was very frustrated at the situation as I have a one and three-year-old who need to go to bed and are now going to be kept up until 10 PM. He said that we could reschedule for a different day. However, I was told earlier in the day that a mainline issue took priority and we would be seen as soon as possible and to not use any water. This also caused me to waste my entire afternoon when I could have been out running errands. Do better. Be better.

After hours emergency. I have a one bathroom apartment and the toilet stopped flushing! A plumber arrived less than 80 minutes from my initial call. He was able to get the toilet working and told me what I should tell my landlord for a permanent resolution. He also let me know if a coupon online. We only have one toilet in the house and it was early in the morning and the toilet was clogged - we (my daughter and wife) were desperate to have it fixed ASAP. I called Root Rooter and Mr. James McMillan was dispatched within an hour to help. James got to work immediately and within an hour I had a fully functional toilet! With his experience in the business he knew exactly what the cause of the stoppage was and gave us advice on how to prevent the issue in the future. James worked fast, was professional and courteous.

Bryan (1728) was very knowledgeable and very polite. He took care of my clogged drain and explained everything he was doing. I wanted a camera put through my drain as I have been having repeated clogs even after having new sewage pipes put in (by different company) and he set that up so I would get the call for the appointment and have the camera run through. I own an older house and our main sewer line is terracotta, so root growth is a constant problem. I've called other plumbers in the area to snake out the sewer line and they've been mostly OK - you get what you pay for. This is the 2nd time I've called Roto Rooter to come clean out our sewer line and they did a great job.This time around, I had called a discount company that only carried a 100ft auger, which was not long enough for our main line. Fortunately, the Roto Rooter technician has a 150ft auger that could be extended further if needed. Their price was a bit higher than the discount guys, but I'd rather pay for the job to be done correctly the first time.The technician was also extremely knowledgeable, and gave me loads of insight into my options for dealing with the root problem. I'll never call anyone else for my future plumbing needs.
